Production Planning Support Specialist

 

Streck is recruiting for a Production Planning Support Specialist to join our Production Planning area. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy of Streck’s inventory quantities through performing data entry related to inventory transactions, manufacturing job processes and assisting with inventory cycle counts.  This person will also be responsible for executing administrative functions for the production planning department and for performing other duties as assigned by management.       

 

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Create job orders and post/unpost material transactions into ERP system
  • Review inventory transactions for accuracy, document discrepancies, and work to resolve
  • Assist Inventory Control with performing physical cycle counts
  • Post inventory transfers, scrap tickets, miscellaneous issues, and other items into ERP system
  • Provide general assistance to support Planning department functions as directed by mgt.
Job Qualifications:

 

Requirements include:

  • Associate’s degree or 2-3 years relevant experience may substitute
  • Dependable, organized, high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Prior experience maneuvering through a database and proficiency in data entry desired
  • Prior experience with inventory control and basic understanding of manufacturing activities helpful
