Job Responsibilities:

Streck is creating a new opportunity within our business for an Innovation and Lean Start Up Manager. This key position will gather and analyze customer information from multiple channels to guide and inform Streck’s innovation strategy, new product development efforts and competitive intelligence.  This position will be responsible for acquiring, analyzing, summarizing and predicting product and industry trends to position Streck for future growth through innovation.  This position will be responsible for building and maintaining a large network of key opinion leaders, academics, industry experts and customers.



Primary responsibilities include:

  • Forecast future trends and emerging markets in clinical laboratory analysis by speaking with current and potential customers, key opinion leaders, and industry experts; reading scientific and industry publications; attending scientific conferences and trade shows; and participating in professional societies.
  • Develop and maintain a network of experts, laboratory directors and end-users in the realm of clinical laboratory analysis, including hematology, cell stabilization, flow cytometry and molecular diagnostics.
  • Develop innovation opportunities and maintain an innovation pipeline system that fosters cross-functional communication and collaboration to explore and research new product ideas or product enhancements.
  • Conduct and coordinate experiments to validate product concepts using measurable attributes.  Disseminate learnings from validation experiments to project teams to facilitate learning and iterative product improvements.


Job Qualifications:

Job Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree in life or physical science is required.  Additional master’s degree in business or marketing is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in related life-science discipline is required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience of successful product development, market research or voice-of-customer experience is required.
  • Demonstrated previous experience with high level of interpersonal, listening and communication skills.
  • Previous project management experience and previous experience with analytical and data analysis reporting required.
